PLANNING...........

The general idea was to ride to Alaska and back, but how would we go?
Out came the maps and the head scratching began.  Over the course of a few meetings, suggestions by all three of us were considered.  We opened it up where each participant could do some research and come up with their "MUST SEE LIST".  *It is important to note that we decided that anything of interest, within a weeks ride of home, would be bypassed for maybe another time, another trip.  This narrowed it down some but it still left an awful lot to see!!!!!

The route evolved over time and until recently was in a state of flux.  We feel satisfied at this time with it and realize that things could change.  With a trip like this we know flexibility is a key.  Things happen and we will roll with the punches, make adjustments and hopefully keep moving forward.

It is now 4 weeks and counting and the trip is starting to creep up on all three of us!  A month from now we'll be cruising through Glacier National Park on our Ultra's, life is good!!!!!!!!!!!!   I sure hope that gel seat pad does it's job.  If it doesn't, I'm hoping the scenery keeps my mind off the old Iron Butt Syndrome.
