About 250 miles today, most of them through the Iceland Parkway.  From the town of Banff follow route 93 straight up.  Incredible country that is suppose to be second only to Alaska when it comes to mountain beauty in NorthAmerica .  I was very impressed with it and can't wait to compare it to our western destination.  There were several glaciers along the way, many of which are very large.  Waterfalls being abundant, water was moving everywhere along the valleys.

Our luck finally ran out with the weather so out came the rain gear.  Nothing over powering but enough to limit camera usage.  Later in the day the clouds were so low that we lost complete visability of everything above the tree line.
We are getting to the stage where you might not find lodging in some of the small towns.  So we laid up short today when we knew we had a roof over our heads.  Same thing for gas, from now on fill ups will be more frequently.

Weather permitting tommorow, we hope to make Dawson Creek BC
