Our luck finally ran out with the weather so out came the rain gear. Nothing over powering but enough to limit camera usage. Later in the day the clouds were so low that we lost complete visability of everything above the tree line.
We are getting to the stage where you might not find lodging in some of the small towns. So we laid up short today when we knew we had a roof over our heads. Same thing for gas, from now on fill ups will be more frequently.
Weather permitting tommorow, we hope to make Dawson Creek BC

Savor the moment, your kids will be able to relay this amazing trip you guys are having down thru generations of your families! Your doing an amazing job of chronicling the journey.
The blog is great, and the shots are awesome. What is the temperature, it looks like Joe is pretty bundled up in the one shot? Are you all saying "AYE" yet? Maybe you can find a nice quaint town soon and stay a day or two and rest those old bones! Sorry I meant to say those young strapping American bones!
Safe travels and keep up the blogging!!

Please come back and get me...
Made it to Rachel's grad party on Saturday and did my best "Cybil" imitation in order to represent all of us so that she wouldn't feel bad. Only ate a burnt burger (like Tom), washed the patio (like Mark), and drank like I normally do!! BTW,,,Rusty hasn't even read the blog yet, so stop looking over your shoulders, he's not following !!
Wow! It looks absolutely amazing! I envy every thing I have read so far. Hope you are soakin it up and enjoying your man time. I liked your comment about paying more attention to metrics in school; isn't the metric system a b@tch! Don't break any bones or pull any muscles old man! Love, your niece Cassi
You have no idea how many people have asked me at work if there really is a Dawson Creek. People need to stop watching so much TV and start riding ... Five more days...
